The Combination Air Valve D-040 series offers the benefits of both an air release valve and an air & vacuum valve. Its air release feature enables the automatic release of small pockets of air that accumulate along a pipeline or piping system when it is full and under pressure. On the other hand, the air & vacuum component allows the automatic discharge or admission of large volumes of air during pipeline filling or draining. Furthermore, this valve is designed to open and alleviate negative pressures that may arise when water column separation happens. Its dual functionality and efficient design make it an excellent choice for pipeline systems that require air release and vacuum relief capabilities.
